Glenn Astolfi, President & CEO
I was born in Virginia and we moved around the country (MA,NY,NJ,TX, MI,FL) while my Dad climbed the corporate ladder. I’ve been married to Pam for 30 years and we have 3 children (Amber, Gregory, and Thomas.) We live in Apex, NC. I enjoy traveling, reading, soccer, the gym and red wine. My finance degree is from Florida State and my MBA from University of Texas. I have been an entrepreneur my whole life. I started my first business when I was 14. Some companies I started or joined early (Barnes and Noble, Travelocity.com, DNJMortgage, Tryon Title) you may know but others (TravelFest Superstores and CruiseDirector.com) didn’t get as far.
After leaving Travelocity.com in 2002 I joined the then 5 person company DNJ Mortgage as a loan officer. Thirteen years later DNJ Gateway Bank Mortgage is a 110 person company, lending in 9 states. I serve in the role of President and C.E.O. Our parent company is the publicly traded Bank of Hampton Roads. DNJ Gateway Bank Mortgage is headquartered in Raleigh, NC.
